John 10:9 “I am the door, and the person who enters through me will be saved and will be able to come in and go out and find pasture.”
When I read this verse my mind immediately goes to the 23rd Psalm and the words of comfort found there. “The Lord is my shepherd I have everything I need.” (Psalm 23:1 NCV) As I put these two pieces of scripture together I am reassured and comforted. I am safe and secure in the pasture of the living God. I am one of his sheep and I’m safe from the thief who comes to steal, kill and destroy (John 10:10 NIV) my life because I choose to listen to my shepherd’s voice and find rest in his green pasture.

So, what about you…do you need a break from the “chaos” of the world outside? Why don’t you come and spend some time in the Shepherd’s lush green pasture. I know you will be blessed and refreshed if you do.
